Jordi Fornies

Jordi Forniés (b. 1971, Spain) is a Spanish artist who has been active as painter, visual artist, and music composer. He has a Doctorate in Chemistry, a degree in classical piano, a Masters in Marketing and Communication, and a research based Masters in Fine Arts. 

As an artist and a scientist, he has a clear understanding of the materials he works with, their potential and their limits when combined and interacting with other media. In his work, he experiments with form and sound, imposing the rules and regulations that will ultimately decide which of these two elements will coexist within a particular universe. 

Forniés has been featured in exhibitions around the world, with works in collections such as Patrimonio Historico Nacional, Museu d'Art Modern de Tarragona (Spain), The Irish Office of Public Works (OPW), The Trinity College (Ireland), Consorcio de Museos de la Comunidad de Valencia (Spain), and many other corporate and private collections.
